Leo Katz is the founder of OTOhealth Hearing Care Centers since 1974.  He is a Hearing Instrument Specialist and NYS licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser who has been providing quality patient care in Suffolk and Nassau Counties for over 40 years. As a hearing aid user himself, Leo understands the issues associated with hearing aid use and provides patients with a professional, knowledgeable and comforting environment.  To keep abreast on the latest advancements in hearing aid technology, Leo travels to conferences and state meetings all over the country multiple times per year.    


Dr. Farrah A. Katz

PRIMARY LOCATION: Huntington, Great Neck & Babylon

Dr. Farrah Katz a NYS licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. Dr. Katz is also certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.  She received her Bachelors Degree from Hofstra University and earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Long Island Consortium, combining learning and clinical experiences from three prestigious Universities (Hofstra, Adelphi, and St. John's).  
Dr. Katz sees patients at all OTOhealth locations. 

Dr. JoAnn Wood



Dr. Wood is a NYS licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association in Audiology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She completed her Masters of Arts degree in Audiology at Hofstra University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. 
Dr. Wood has been the owner of Audio Center of Babylon since 2010 specializing in hearing aid technology and communication. She was inspired to become an audiologist after her daughter was born deaf in 2001. Dr. Wood is also an Adjunct Professor who has taught a variety of audiology courses at Stonybrook University and St. Joseph's College. Prior to taking over Audio Center of Babylon, Dr. Wood worked in a hospital and in an ENT office. She prefers being in private practice in order to give her patients the respect and time they deserve.
